However I did have to stop and get a few pictures of the White-bellied Sea-Eagle and the Whistling Kite, that were very low on the dunes as they are generally circling above out of range for my camera lens.

Lovely series! I really like the last photo of the Whisteling Kite. I loved hearing them when we travelled in Queensland (looong ago in 2004 - sob)

Stunning shots of the kite and sea-eagle. I especially like that second shot of the eagle, w/ the dark trees in the background highlighting his beautiful form. Nice post!

Hi all, thnakyou for your lovely comments, am hoping to get another post up shortly well in the next two weeks. I will be off to the islands again this time after some breeding pied oystercatchers - so hopefully i will get some good pics.
